Well yesterday as I was backing into a parking spot at Jack in the Box. I failed to see a large tree trunk protruding into the parking spot and blew out one of my cargo door windows on the Suburban :eek

Scared the shit out of me, I thought I had been shot at :guns

being I was on the Southside :cool

So I'm sitting here at home watching the glass guy put in a new rear window and while they are at it a new windshield. Love the $0 deductible on glass

But the travisty is it was the window with my OP6C and Tahiti stickers :cry

Looks like a trip to Roostwear.com is in the near future. I think I have OP6C stickers left somewhere :stupid

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like your luck with windows was about as good as mine with tires over the weekend....3 flats on 3 different vehicles...all the tires fairly new. :banghead

Only 2 could be fixed though. Had to buy a new one for the toyhauler....a cactus humped the sidewall. :rolleyes

You know some people are just idiots :banghead

So the glass guys knocks on the door says its all done. I'm thanking him and go to ck out the work and I new from the get go they would screw up on the type of rear glass I broke. Shithead install the wrong style, its more of the 1999 style glass not the 1992 style. Looks nice but doesn't match :fight

So now I'm going to make them change the other old one to match the new one. Its pretty obvious they don't match. :angry

Looks like it's winking...

So who did the glass?? GlassPro?? That's who did both my front windows... I made them put in the Sun-ray green glass on one, they were going to put in clear... that would look stupid.

Safelite did the installs. Windsheild sure is nice :good

the old one must have been a bit sand pitted.

Funny the installer was talking to me when he showed up and noticed the back window had a defroster wire in it and said "I hope they sent one with a defroster, I better double ck it." :banghead

I've been having such crappy customer service for a while now. The bad experiences are leading by about 3-1 over the good ones. What the hell is wrong with people now adays. :drama

Actually, I took it all in stride. The first one was my daughter's motorcycle. Fortunately I carry everything I need in my backpack. But changing tubes on those 18" rear wheels in the middle of the desert isn't fun. So that was the worst one to deal with.

I noticed the left rear on the toyhauler looking a bit low at the dump station and upon closer inspection saw the sidewall with what was probably manzinita poking out of it. Hard as steel. Easy to change by rolling 'er up on the leveling blocks though.

When I got home, I went to put the van back in the warehouse and there was the car....right front flat! Picked up a nail somewhere. :stupid

I'm getting much better at these miniature crisis'.....I just hope it's not practice for anything bigger! :eek
