Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer           |
Bill, your browser is basically timing out. There are lot of different reasons this may happen. The most common reasons are server load and network traffic though. More often than not when you get that particular message, your pm (or post) has gone through. Your browser is timing out before you get confirmation of that. This is the same reason some people double post alot. They get that message and assume the post didn't go through so they hit their browser back button and hit post again.
I just sent test pm's with 2 different browers (Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox) and both went through before timing out so it might possibly have been a server load or internet traffic issue that caused your problem.
