There are some things I do miss about that part of the "funzone". Was a regular at Senator Wash for nearly 10 yrs.

We usually launch at squaw lake because it is at least 10 minutes closer to the house than Martinez/Fishers. We get the annual day-use permit from BLM and use the hell out of it all up and down the river

Senator Wash is a great little lake for watersports..... just wished there were some nicer beaches for BBQ, horseshoes, etc. Lately, Senators is awash with lake lice :angry

IMO, Squaw Lake has the best Launch ramp on the Lower River, they do a great job of keeping it up...

Squaw Lake is a nice ramp. The docks, however, are in need of some new decking (splinter city) :angry

I agree. Fortunately, 90% of the time I stay at the AVI it is work related and I am on per diem
