I was amazed to see so many moped riders with NO HELMET!! AAAAAHHHH! Are they crazy? A city full of tourists (Asian I might add, no offense) driving around not really knowing where they are going, not to mention the crazy tour bus and taxi drivers, and they were riding with no helmet? Just crazy I tell you, crazy... :banghead

We ended up taking a cab up to diamond head and then walking back to our hotel, all in all it was about a total 5 mile hike up down and back to the hotel, a very nice walk... Despite nearly getting eaten alive by some type of inscet.

Tourists from the Orient driving there is very dangerous. I had one come at me head on, I had to bail off into the grass and shrubs, then they looked at me like I was crazy......well no shit dumbasses, you're on the wrong side of the road, this is America... :rolleyes

You'd figure they'd be smart enough to notice the road signs were blank on their side :rolleyes

Well the "tourists from the orient" didn't notice the "SHARKS SIGHTED" sign either, and then when the lifeguard came on the loudspeaker and said "Uh there are sharks in the area and it's advisable not to go out in the water far" those dummies kept splashing around like baby seals about 100 yards out in the water! It was like a scene from Jaws, I was just waiting for someone to get snapped up... Unfortunately nobody did :rolleyes

Maybe next time...
