Someone was telling me...
At Havasu, boats must leave 10 feet between each other, for "law enforcement stuff"... and so drunks dont fall between boats and get squished...?

i can see leaving a 10 ft path so they can get through crowds, but between each boat...?

was he "missinformed" or is it me....?

In The Mag, it says there are mooring points 15 ft apart on the east wall of the south channel. They are spaced that way to limit the amount of boats that can be moored. They are talking about expanding it.

i was wondering how they would enforce something like that.... and the arguments, who was there first, etc...

parking in crowds gets tricky enough, then you got some kid or drunk on a rental pontoon with 5 minutes of experience.
a little wind in the mix....
