There is a huge shortage of RN's right now... my mother makes nearly 40/hr at a hospital in Vegas working as an RN.  That's on the "med-surge" floor (general admission type stuff).  She made nearly that 15 years ago when she worked in the OR and recovery room.

I know. But 4 years of school right away?????? I know if I just get in with my Surigal Tech cert.( the O.R.) than I can be in a better finical state, and then maybe  to learn take classes for nursing. Maybe, at the expense of the hospital I would work at. I believe Hoag does something like this.

Surical cert.=2 years

RN = 4years. 2 years pre 2 years program.

Looking into what school right now.

Paying for it all is the hardest part for me.

It's a whole new year!
