Believe it or not, it's been 3 years since the strike.  Our current contract expires in 2 months. :eek  The strike was a wakeup call for me though, so I went back to school a couple of years back.  I'm nearly qualified to work in either web development or database management.  The last classes I need are not offered every semester though.

I don't have a new girl, but I did hang out with one for the past 2 years that had absolutely no interest in boating, the river, or HDF. :banghead

I'm not drunk because I rarely drink anymore. :drink  I can't even remember the last time I had a beer. :beer  I have a 30 pack next to me that is less than half gone and I bought it last October. :eek

School took up all of my free time since summer, but I'm out for a month now. :stupid  Christmas tied my hands for a couple of weeks, but I'm ready for anything now. :stupid   I just fell out of the routine of hanging out here or with any of the boating crowd. :(  I hope I make it the the boat show and see some of you though. :good

More than anything, I've been resting lately.  My sore back came back and I've been taking muscle relaxers so they just want to make me sleep. :sleep
