Or, any recommendations for someone in the So. Bay??

I got two guys coming over to give me an estimate and one guy coming over to catch me when I pass out after hearing the price. :eek  :eek

Ive got a great guy Kevin Flaherty, Suncoast tile. 714-227-5103.  

He has good prices and does great work...  But ask him for a quote and make the call for yourself...

Tell him Cord refered you.

Not too extreme, just chopped a wall in half. But I had to re-route mucho wiring and plumbing that went through the wall.

Turning the half wall into a peninsula with a 42" wide granite top. It's been the week of drywall and plaster so far.

Too much ducting and plumbing above, sunken tub right around there upstairs. I've convinced my wife that we have plenty of room in the cabinets we have. What we need is the counterspace.

Not only that, but with that wall gone it opens up to the dining room and the living room below. Now I just need the 60" plasma on the far wall and I'll be set! :D

Found the guy! Excellent estimate! He went and bought the granite today and will be back Monday to make his templates. :good

The range is in at the Yellow Freight terminal...getting the son-in-law to help me pick it up Monday  :cool

I'm sooo stoked. It's coming together nicely....might even get some time off for good behavior Pres. Day weekend!  :D

Well, today's the day....the granite guys are here doing the install :good

Aside from the fact that my wife left the garage door open the other night and some focker strolled in and helped himself to a compressor, circular and jig saw, the kitchen remodel has gone pretty good so far.

But I'm keeping my fingers crossed......the fat lady isn't even hummingb yet. :rolleyes

Plumbed and wired, just have to slide the range in and slap a few things to the ceiling. :D
