I have since changed my mind.  I don't want to say anything else for fear of jinxing it. :D  It has been very nice to me for the past couple of years.  It is throwing a code, though, but has been for 9 months.  I'm going to continue to ignore it.  Oh, and the P/S pump leaks oil like a sieve.  I'm ingoring that as well. :D Gets me to work and back everyday and looks good doing it.  :good



. . .and 25-30 mpg is not too shabby.

Oh!  Check out that tranny.  My mom has the auto trans and had it rebuilt TWICE!  But hers is a 99, like mine.  That is the main reason I got a manual trans.

I'm high bidder at $5100 now but still under his reserve :)  he wants $6800 buy it now, KBB on "trade in" is around $8000 :stupid Its here in town I need to take a look at it in person I think :cool  Seems like to good of a deal or he's just dumping it. The mileage is screwed up on the odometer not original mileage is ck'd on title.  :drama

Not all States record all this stuff. Pretty easy to get a washed title in a different state for the deceiving kind of person.

I noticed the same thing. Hard to get the metallic paints to match when a section has faded or on the urethane parts.

Not all States record all this stuff. Pretty easy to get a washed title in a different state for the deceiving kind of person.

I would say it's pretty hard to get a clean title on a tainted car in AZ... from personal experience.

If it doesn't already have an AZ title, I'd walk away from it Kevin...

my odo is digital, on my 06 Ram 2500 and the whole dash cluster had to be changed out, due to one of them freaky fault codes... BUT, they had the mileage off the old one "burned" into the memory of the new cluster....

you NEVER know... but convertables usually leak, EVERYTHING blows IN the car when the top is down, if you dont cover the top when its down, the pit will be full of leaves, crap, you name it... AND, when its HOT HOT and your sitting at a red light with the A/C blowing as cold as it can... it will blow out about 3 inches before its hot air..
AND... when you put the top up, to try and cool off...
the thin black top just bakes you even more...

just something to think about ( i had a BMW Z3 roadster.... fun, but its the little things you gotta deal with...)

sorry to sound negative, but i just gotta toss that out for you to think about...

but again, in the evenings, at night...
running topless down the strip in Vegas, ( and the tops down on the car too....) can be a ton of fun...  :pirate  :ass
great for mooning friends..

regarding the convertible . . . my mom has the convertible firebird.  No problems whatsoever.  No leaks, air or water.  Hers is for sale as a back-up, but it's a 99 and has over 150K miles.

How in the heck do you cut the speedo wire in the course of installing a stereo? :stupid

I don't know if I buy that. It says 55k miles and Kelly Blue Book says 72k would be typical based on the year.
