Even if I had taken insurance, he still would have beaten me by $25. I was a little disappointed until I made my way over and watched Kathy play her last hand! Then I was totally bummed! She put out a $250 "secret" bet, lost and a little ol' lady doubled-up, came outta nowhere and beat her by $10! I tried to explain tp her the errors of her ways but bein' married to me, she wasn't gonna listen. It took a guy that was at her table to explain to her where she fouled up and then she finally got it! If she had just bet the minimum ($5) being so far ahead, she would have guarenteed herself a seat in the semi-finals. Oh well....another lesson hopefully learned. All-in-all we had fun and held our own, so at least we could walk out with our heads up; and unfortunately our pockets empty! Thanx to all for the good luck wishes; and CE, you can come home now!  |
