The fam has decided that "we" want to go dirt bike ridin' this Labor Day Holiday......don't they watch the News? :stupid

It's supposed to be a bazillion degrees out there this weekend....and there is no river, no pool and no natural shade! Ã‚Â :flamed

So, I'll try and keep 'em cool as best I can. I went and bought a mister set-up that I'll run around the EZ-Up....I only hold 100 gallons of water though so I'll have to keep an eye on that.

Anyone have any unique ideas for staying cool in the desert.....besides staying inside with the generator going and the A/C on? Ã‚Â :rolleyes

At least it likely won't be very crowded...........
bring loads of drinking water and do your riding in the evenings, night or early mornings....
Give that RV a/c a workout....

We did it last year, but the heat wasn't so bad.....up and ready to ride at sunrise, it's actually a great time to ride. Do a couple of hours and head in for breakfast and maybe a quick ride before siesta time :cool

Just say no. Or as I would say, No Focking Way. Winter is coming soon. Be lots of riding time then. BTW, mister I had used about 5 gals per hour and it did a good job.

Only thing I can add is LOOSE CLOTHING when possible...nature's A/C... :cool

You'll prolly have the best time...outdoors, no crowds, family together... Maybe Kennedy Meadows will be cooler than Johnson Valley... :stupid

Kennedy Meadows is most certainly cooler. My buddy was there two weeks ago and it's actually cold in the morning :cold

But I'm not hauling my rig up that grade again......going up actually isn't the problem :banghead
