OK, so I went and saw the skin doctor, first time in years.  He removed two moles and sent them off for biopsy, nothing to worry about mind you, but lets just be safe..  :rolleyes :D

Any who, why not make October HD Skin cancer awareness month??  I say everyone on the board should either go see or schedule an appointment with the durmadoctors and keep it... :D

I saw mine a few months ago for a mole on my leg...turned out I was fine, but he did recommend this site for any moles I find later on...

I had one removed from behind my ear two years ago.  If I let it go it would have got into my blood stream.  My wife made me go in and have it looked at and it was a good thing I did.

I got checked a year or so ago and was given a clean layer of epidermus.
Removed a skintag or two so I felt like I got something for my money.
.
Sadly, today I got a VM from my haircut girl saying she needed to change my appt. Last year she was diagnosed with breast cancer, did the surgery, chemo, radiation, the whole 9 yards and has been clean since but now they found 2 tiny matastisized tumors in her brain.  :cry  She goes in tomorrow for some precise targeted radiation treatments. They are confident since they are tiny but still, this poor girl just turned 39.....

Ain't life Grand? Treat it that way.

Thats the thing that sucks about Melanoma, it spreads like a weed and can end up any where. Once it gets in your Lymph or Blood system. Who knows where it will set up shop :stupid

Unconfirmed story about that was Bob Marley, they traced his death back to a Melanoma on his foot that took out his Liver.
