Then my heart sank as I read horrible news in the Obit's today. The girl that's been cutting my hair passed away, she was only 39.....she was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer almost exactly one year ago, all was looking good until about a month ago when they found two tiny tumors in her brain. Last time I checked in with them she was doing ok and had had pinpoint radiation treatment for these two tumors, Dr.'s were optimistic but fearful due to the amount of Chemo she'd been having for the past year. Just shocking news for me right now  Such a vivacious girl struck down by fate... |
no way is this the one I met a few years back..."funny name" it statred with a "S" if I remember right she was quite the looker. sad for sure at such a young age... BTW I was on the front page of the Havasu news paper yesterday, my car clubs annual donation to the battered womens shelter, we made the donation in the name of one of our fallen members that passed away 11/26/07 of a massive heart attack she was only 53 and one very sharp looking lady (body a 20yr old would be jealous of) she was happy and joking with me one day and gone the next life is full of unexpected turns God knows you and I have lost too many friends and classmates at far to young a age, kinda scares the poop out of me, especially with EVERYONE from my old neighborhood passing away from colon cancer, both my parents, 5 older neighbors and Helen W. that was taken by colon cancer at 43yrs old. you know I found a stat the other day that said 1 out of 2 pets (cats/dogs) over the age of 10 will have cancer of the digestive tract (colon or bladder). I bet that stat is not to far out of whack as it would relate to humans..... |
Different girl, you were thinking of Sonni. Trish married a customer/friend of mine and we'd golf together on occassion. Red headed firecracker she was. Ain't life Grand? Treat it that way. The Love of my Life, Jan.
