Has any one else heard about this?  On the radio this morning they were talking about it. They say within the next 6 years all people living in the US must obtain one. It will be in the form of a new drivers license. It is supposed to have a chip or something in it that will contain all your information on it.....They say its part of the new Homeland Security BS....They also said on the radio that because of the technology it uses the price will be increased as well!...as if we dont pay enough...

if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all

Its not really that far off....actually there are 3 families here in the US that has volunteered to try it out already...there is a movie my brother in law sent to me...It's kinda long (2 hours) but it covers alot of different topics...pretty interesting...I watched about a month or so ago and dismissed it as "conspiracy theory" after looking some stuff up and now hearing about Real ID (which they talked about in the movie as well) I dunno if its all theory or not...


Here is the link to the movie...it is quite interesting....and really makes ya think about the world today and the things that are happening! Alot of creditable people also talk on the movie as well

My understanding is that there is no microchip but there are 3 layers of security measures.  States can choose which measures they want...which seems odd if this is a federal issue.  Make them all the same, especially since using them for air travel is what spurred this whole thing on. That would hopefully eliminate potential problems down the road.

Apparently Cali is ahead of the game, our licenses already contain the required info.  Wow, what a surprise there. :rolleyes   I hope that is true, because I just got a new license and I don't relish spending any more time at the DMV than I absolutely have to. :eek   Besides, I finally got a decent pic! :rotflmao
