Well we're taking our kid (25

) to the Airport in the morning, with 2 duffle bags and a bike in a box :plane

And he's off to Seattle :stupid

he's going to relocate there :cold

He's got a job he starts in a week :good

But needs to find a place to live around Pike and Broadway. I put him up in a Hotel for about a week, after that he's on his own.

At least there is a Hooters right downtown for you when you come to visit.

Its fricken cold here right now. Supposed to be the coldest night of the year so far. Looks like it is pretty cold everywhere right now though.

I've been to Seattle about 9 times in the last 4 years or so, and never saw the sun once. It is very green and the air seems to be very clean. The folks that live there seem to love it there, and the whole place has a very laid back vibe..

I like Seattle, but I've never had to live there. I was going to move there when I was toying with the idea of going back for another degree and going to UDub...kinda regret that I didn't.

One of my most favorite places on the planet is San Juan Island, hope your son gets a chance to head out there in the spring/summer. If I could find my dream job there I'd relocate in a heartbeat.

Best of luck to him! Ask him to go drink a pint of Guinness for me at Kells!

I had not seen a full day of sunshine since I got back over two months ago until he got here.
