Got home last night....desert was fantastic.

Yeah, it got a bit chilly - only down to about 30, not the 20 we were expexting.

But it was as clear as a bell and the sun warmed things up by 9-10. Didn't get windy until Sunday night.

Hardly broke anything either. :beat  I think the helmet is a great invention. :p

It's a fact of Life:

After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......

We always break mechanical parts! :beat

Let's see....my daughter's clutch cable broke - didn't see that one coming, although she said that she noticed that it was a bit frayed and didn't tell me. That's what I get for buying a used bike from my other daughter's boyfriend's friend!  :banghead

My son-in-law broke a lever and bent his bars when he decided to hit a blind jump at about 40 mph.... :rolleyes

I see him dissappear and my daughter, who was following, pulled a gnarly tail whip over him. I get there and stop at the crest and look down about 20 feet to see him in a gully the rain had made! Fortunately my daughter flys a bit higher and cleared it all.  :good

Other than that it was a blast....man I was sore yesterday. :p
