First off, howdy all!!!
Second, I've been on a search for a long lost 67-68 S Class Stevens Flatbottom that left my family in the early 80's. It was sold to the Reno, NV area.
When it left us, it had a matchbooked Monkey Pod wood deck, white sides/transom with red metal flake inserts in the side. Boat name was "Exciter" in gold foil on the rear sides. It had a 390 Caddy, Nicson wet headers and Casale V-Drive in it.
Last heard the jack-ass that bought it left water in the block, it froze and cracked, then it was lost to a marina for storage fees. This was not toooo long after it was bought.
I know this is a shot in the dark... but what the heck. Stranger things have come up on the internet.
If you know of a similar boat... let me know. I'll dig up some pics of the boat from back in the day. My dad used to drag race it in the late 60's - early 70's around California.
Thanks in advance.
