If you could be a bit more specific I might be able to point you in the right direction....I know a few people down in the Marina del Rey area that work on some older yachts - is that what you had in mind? Like an old Burger or Stevens?
Or smaller, say a Chris Craft runabout - that sort of thing? (I got a buddy who has one upside down getting the bottom re-built...but that don't help)
I could probably hook you up with a hi tech racing sloop for a shoot easier than an old one.
Best thing to do would be to get a dinghy and tool around the marina until you find a boat you like, ask the dockmaster for a number or leave a note.
Heck, you could probably just go down and find one being cleaned and hand the crew a fifty for some time on board to do your shoot. It's a fact of Life:
After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......
