Wow....4 years have gone by since the last Leap Year.....hmmm, funny how that works, huh? :laugh

Four years ago I was kinda sorta thinking about 'bout buying a new boat right about this time.......

And coincidently, 4 years ago I sold my old boat!

those 4 years just flew by.... :stupid

Hmmm, 4 years ago, I was still running my 1979 Spectra 19. BBC, all original gel, upholstry etc. Picked it up from original owner. Kinda miss that boat.

Actually that's a Buffett reference.

But I did break both the tibia and fibula. ER doc said only one, but she kept examining the x-ray and saying, "did i miss something?" :eek

Ortho confirmed both breaks. He wanted to cast it over the knee, but knew it would be next to impossible to fly home that way (did I mention I was by myself when this happened?) so he put me in a fracture boot and sent me back to Cali to have it taken care of. Not a fun way to fly.

That's What I Thought The First Time That I Read It!!

Oddly enough, I guess it is not uncommon to break the other leg while one is in a cast and you're on crutches. My doc drilled into my head that if I was falling, to make sure I fell on the leg in the cast so I wouldn't end up with two broken legs. It's not easy to program your brain to do that, especially when you're not allowed to bear ANY weight on the broken leg. :stupid

So you broke your leg once in two places. Braking Tib-Fib is most common. Really hard to break one and not the other. By yourself as in no witnesses. Having no witness is only good when your breaking somebody elses legs.

When I was 18 Was going to move.
