Does anybody watch wallstreet, it's sounds bad up there, and reading the headlines I don't know what to belive anymore, they talk about how bad GM is with there gas guzzers, and the low  USD, What is some of your take, and what do you think the future holds,  I'm kind of on the fence about this, don't know much about it, all I have is a house payment right now, to scared to go out and buy anything, And that is another reason why I have not move yet.

I don't watch it, the headlines are bad enough!. :beat But in certain respects it is a buyers market out there, there are some that are getting rich on these bad times!.. :rolleyes

What a time to buy. Fed to cut rate another full point tomorrow. I would love to go out and buy a few hundred homes right now.

I saw homes in the Barstow area up for auction as low as 35k!

Only problem is....I don't want to live in Barstow.....but a rental/investment might not be a bad idea...I do go right through there on my way to the river  :rolleyes

All these people that lost homes are going be renting a house somewhere. Rental market is gonna go nuts. Friend that moved to Sedona AZ just came back here and is renting a place across the street from Inland boats for $1500 a month. That's nuts.

I would rely on her opoinion on that. There will always be freight moved by trucks, no matter how high fuel costs go. Fuel costs just get pass on. If she can load them, you could make money. The only trucks not making money are the parked ones. Tough business.

I hang on a few truck boards, and I will tell you this, I do not now much about the broker biss, but the truckers are slowly parking them, cuz the freight is not paying, and till it go's up, it's going to get harder and harder to find someone to move it, yes their will always be freight to move, but If nobodys making and money on it, then they will not move it.

I like watching Mad Money... :good Cramer is a crack-up.... :laugh   I've got friends that did OK as day traders, but you have to give 50-60 hrs a week to get anything out of it.... :beat

I gladly pay a service fee to have "my guy" watch things for me...steady 12%-16% per annum returns... :good  :beer

That's what we are paying $4+ a gallon for.......So the folks who produce the oil can invest the money back into this country......Must be some sort of cycle or something.....

I just know that diesel at 4 bucks a gallon is making me wish I had the old truck back that ran on propane..... :angry

Volatility is certainly back in the market, but interest rates are low, profits are still good, and unemployment is also low......Sentiment is driving the markets right now, but hopefully that will fade and fundamentals will prevail....... :stupid
