Isn't that more than true. Even in Havi with the worlds deepest dam, there's prop eaters everywhere. |
No kidding, I have a friend that customized his prop right under the bridge in the channel.  I think it was by the second or third arch from the island side. He wasn't really happy about it, either.   |
You ever go to West Marine there. The biggest section in the store by far is the prop section. I think this year I'm going to carry a spare, just in case. |

My buddy that just got to Havi this AM, runs a 4 blade, ladded and all, at $2,000 each. He says that's cheap. I say he getting a volume discount. He went through 6 of them last year. |
Does he do his own customizing in the river.....or does he throw that many blades? |
Never thrown a blade, He just has a thing for rocks. I'm gonna measure the draft on his boat next time we're out. I'm guessing 4' at idle. "Damn you sure know how to fock things up."-GFR
