mrsgig surprised da gig w/ a trip to Pala Casino last night to see a band called "Led Zepagain", a Led Zeppelin cover band if ya couldn't tell. If you haven't already seen them, GO! They rocked! The lead guitarist does some knockout "bow and fret" work and if you don't look at the drummer and not swear that that really is John "Bonzo" Bonham up there and he's just been stuck in a time warp.... His drum solo from "Moby Dick" was killer! The most fun da gig has had in months and the band looked as if they were genuinely havin' fun too! If their rendition of "Kashmir" doesn't blow your mind, you checked it at the door with your hat! da gig was in near tears the whole show; they're that good IMO! Go see 'em if ya get the chance. Don't think you'll be disappointed. :good

I have heard that they above and beyond any other cover band out there. I would love to go see them being a long time Zep fan. I even have a couple Plant and Page CD's.

Uh-oh. Just went to the Ticketmaster site and that show is general admission, standing room only for $17.50 per. That's not bad, but da gig's hip may have somethin' to say about that! :(  Have to wait and see....
