I'd passed under the tracks just an hour before that.
Derailed at Wash 7. :eek

Anyone camped south of 7 either had tpo go south to wash 40 and cross over or keep going to I-8....or wait it out.
Much of the work had been done within 24hrs to fix it back up. The amount of work crews, cranes and supply trucks were astounding.

Naw, not much wind Saturday.
I wouldn't put it past someone having damaged the tracks by going over them, but thats pure speculation on my part. Simply could have been a railcar failure. It was hot so maybe expansion/contraction of the rail itself was a factor too. Who knows :stupid  :rolleyes
