So there we were having a blast on Guys Trip to Desert Storm, the street party was very cool, the Poker run was awesome, we cruised thru the channel on Friday afternoon. As we started back into Thompson bay my phone came alive saying I had about 13 missed calls, from various people. :eek

I figured something was up when 5 of those calls were from my mom. Sure enough, my brother, only 50 yr old, had a heart attack and passed away Friday afternoon. :cry

Not a good way to enjoy the weekend.

I do want to say, my buddies who were with me are the best buds to have when you get bad news. Thanks to Ziggy, Barry, Karl, Ralph, Steve, Mark, Dave, and Jeff! :good

I wound up cutting the weekend short, to make my way to Maryland to meet up with my mom and other brother to take care of business.

Oh MK...I'm so very sorry to hear this news. I'm glad you had such good friends with you when you got the news, I'm sure they were a great comfort to you. Please know that I am keeping you and your family close in my heart and prayers.

Still out here in Maryland getting thru the legal stuff and the putting to rest issues. Painful thing was my brother and I had to do visual ID of our brothers body before cremation. :cry

One of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
