Take a few moments to remember all of those who we lost on 9/11/2001....WTC, The Pentagon, Shanksville. and to all of the first responders who worked so hard to save lives and the ordinary people who helped each other.  We saw the worst of humanity followed by the best of humanity, not only throughout our country but throughout the world.

Our world changed forever that day.  I keep thinking that each year this anniversary will get easier, but it doesn't.  Time has done nothing to dim the memories.  I can remember that day as vividly as when it happened.  I think I always will.

Forget?  Impossible.

I will be leading the Students in a short remembrance ceremony followed by a moment of silence. Also the flags are at half-staff today as ordered by the Super of School Dist.

For me I will never forget and it is a day of mixed feelings. There is sorrow for what happened on this day 2001 and there is happiness for what happend on this day 1930.

Today, as with every 9/11 anniversary, I listen to Bruce Springsteen's album, The Rising.  He put into words what so many of us couldn't express.

I celebrated one of my proudest achievements in Windows on the World, the restaurant atop the North Tower of the WTC.  I still have a hard time accepting that it, and all those people, are gone. :(  :cry

Believe it's one day that nobody could truthfully say that they don't remember what happened or where they were when they heard the news. da gig was battlin' pneumonia and was gettin' ready to go to the dr. when he called 'is office. The girl @ the office asked me 'bout it and I had no clue what she was talkin' 'bout due to the fact that the TV hadn't been turned on. Turned the TV on just in time to see the second plane hit! Just could not believe what I was watchin'! If it isn't the saddest day in US history, its in the top three IMO.  :(

I have been flying the American Flag at my house 24/7 ever since....its my reminder of the tragic event. I can still remember watching it on TV and having to pick my jaw off the floor.
One biz aquaintence I knew was on Flight 93 that crashed in the Pennsylvania field.
Something else I just learn last year was a good customer of mine(his wife) was also on that flight. His eyes teared up as he told me, almost made me cry in the middle of my showroom.
They owned race horses.
