Off to the Land of Enchantment :D Got a 3 day roadie lined up to go Pimp our company in SW New Mexico. Rent-a-ride set me up with a newer Pacifica and its so full of crap you'd think I was movin :laugh

I'm buying dinner and drinks in Las Cruces if anyone wants to join me :beer

Greetings from Las Cruces :beer Looked for you guys at Applebee's :alien  so I just got off cheap since you were all no shows :rolleyes
Interesting town, read somewhere its one off the best to retire to. :stupid  But I will tell you its one of the worst towns to drive to :banghead
Did drive across the Continental Divide and the Rio Grande river :good  :D , and Gawddam if there ain't a Hooters here. Lunch is on me for all that show up.

Did some stops in Demming and Lordsburg and found it interestingly busy. The copper mines in the mountains have these little towns jumpin.....well for a little town anyway.

Spend a half day here tomorrrow then off to Silver City :comp

The Mrs is from Lordsburg.  I actually met her south of Lordsburg in a little town called Animas.  If you think Las Cruces is a pain to get around in, wait until you get to Silver City :banghead  :banghead

Actually back in Snoresburg tonight, was going to stay in Silver City but the towns a mess with a ton of road construction. Old town looked cool  :good will have to check it out next time. The copper mines have these little towns blowin up just like back in the day. Construction guys looking for places to eat and drink all over the place. I was mostly looking for places to drink, talked my self out of going to the Maverick tonight down by the tracks but it looks like a must do dive bar :drink
