So last week was Jan's birthday and I surprised her with a quick trip to a local Indian Casino, the Harrah's.
I prepaid the hotel stay which included a spa discount of $100 and 2 free dinner coupons.
We enjoyed the night and the next day in the spa. When time to check out they had screwed up my bill. There was an extra $96 charge that was added randomly, but still, after a few hundred bucks of spa treatments and breakfast charges my balance was just $54.   :stupid  :stupid  :stupid
I went and told them there was a mistake and gave the manager the opertunity(at least a couple hours of pool lounging for me and Jan) to fix it and charge me the correct amount........but for some strange reason the accounting manager couldn't figure out what was wrong and simply said you have no balance and let us go on our marry way.

The simple fact was that they'd given me credit on my account for the prepaid room and deducted the other charges from that instead of adding charges to the account. :rolleyes  :rolleyes
.
So Harrah's rincon casino, I thank you for the wonderful birthday you gave my wife. :good

Between feeding and having it spit out some winners we ended up loosing $24ish. I kinda forced Jan to play a certain machine and after a few pulls she won a big one which helped extend our evening. :jumpie
