Can't get to busy. They haven't built the docks yet. Beach isn't half the size than Nautical. Then a half mile walk. BLM will probably make peeps buy a day pass. Could always park on the island and swim across. :D

That area is pretty dangerous without alcohol. Can't even count the times I seen pull off the beach towing something right in front of a boat coming at them at 100+.

Don't know if that will happen, certainly looks of places need it.

I thought they looked a bit outta place myself. Guess the logs are cheap even pre-fabed. BTW, the Pirates came form the Nautical.

I think it might too. You see the pic's on PB's., dam place is packed on both sides just like the Channel. I'm gonna check it out Tues after next. If it's busy I'll probably never go back. :banghead

Worst experience and customer service we have ever had at a restaurant...

We wanted to give the place the benefit of doubt and a bunch of us went in for breakfast, first group got there at 815 and did not get serviced til 945am, they had gotten fed up and got up and left after the waitress told them it could be another half hour before getting their food and as they left we called them back just in time cuz the food arrived.....

We got there at 905am, told we would get a table in 10 minutes (plenty of open tables but they stated the cooks are so backed up they were not seating anymore for now, but they had full staff of cooks) roughly 935 to 945 we got our seats and ordered...1030 rolls around and our waitress kept saying sorry for the delay and we told her we understand, new place, busy weekend so no big deal...around 11 I asked any news...she said our food will be up on the next order....we said thanks....she comes to us at 1120 and says SORRY no more kitchen...I SAID WHAT? She said kitchen is no longer making food until they catch up...she was nice, she was very sorry but COME ON GIVE ME A BREAK, we had to call the manager there to see what is up with this BS.

Manager came out, said sorry guys new place....after I raised a stink saying we had been sitting there and ordered for over 2 hours and they have the nerve to tell us "SORRY NO FOOD FOR YOU" 2 hours later.....NO effect to make it up to us.....

Anyway, we got up, left and will not have to many good things to say about this bar.....

IF you plan on going boating at all give them 2 hours + to get something to eat OR skip boating for the day........

PS the zoo is worse than yesterday...be ready to wait all day if you are going to eat...now the bar is another story...

So far 6 families and counting stated the same thing....

Looks to me like the Skybox has some competion. Anybody want to get odds going on who closes first. I'm still betting on the Skybox but that might change after I try the Cove out myself.

Wow that place was a zoo. I can see how they got overwhelmed  i have never in the 5 years i've been launching from there seen that many people and boats. people swimming across the channel, the bar side full of boats.
 The channel seems wider less weeds for sure. we drove over about 10pm Saturday night and it just looked like park locals.
