That stuff happens quite frequently.  I am a conductor and I have seen kids do this stuff several times.  It sucks for me because we have to stop and then go back there and check on them and they are usually gone by the time we get back there.

Isn't there some way to affix something that would "sweep the tracks" w/'em as the train goes by? One or two incidents of unsuccessful trainspotting and I think they'd start rethinking that game! :good

And I feel for ya RB. That has to suck big time to have to go back to check the scene. Cannot be a real good feeling anticipating the worst. F*ckin' idiots!

Its usually kids doing that kind of stuff.  I have only seen the bad stuff once and that was when a guy figured out he didnt want to live anymore and stepped out in front of us.  Even worse was he did it at a metrolink station in front of all the other passengers that were waiting.
