This is a picture of my friend's boat. It's brand spankin' new and will probably be the one I'm in most of the time until I can afford one of my own. I believe it's a 22' Laser Vision 2003. It has the largest engine package that comes with it from the manufacturer and I still have yet to get behind it for a good ski run.

Really in the long run use your friends boat as long as you can you'll save alot of $$$$ and be able to  :drink more. Remember the definition of the word boat "A hole in the water to throw money into" :D

I think that Delusion needs to buy Silver a nice Jet Boat to go with that nice new Ford PU.  I just might know where one is for sale :D  :D   :laugh   And that way, he can ski all day and when he gets tired, he can take the wheel of the Jet and go target shooting with Jet Skis :good  :rotflmao

I'm not sure what I do to them.  Guess I could sell them, and I could probably fix them.  I've fixed 1 or 2 of them in my Lifetime :D  :laugh

Ok, here's a serious answer Silver;  I used to own a computer store, but got out of it because I was bored.  I went to work for a Nationwide company doing field service work that fixes computers, printers, servers, routers, etc and we have some Major corporate and Government contracts.  I am the Primary Tech for the State of California Cisco Routers.  If the State of CA has a Router go down, I am the first tech to get assigned to the call....no matter where it is.  I am also a Nationwide Lead for the Gateway Plasma TV Installation Service :(   My specialty is Networking but am capable of just about all IT related things.  I currently hold many Certifications, A+, MCP, MCSE, MCDBA, CCNA, About 30 Dell Certifications, Many Lexmark Certifications, and a few more.  I went down with a work related injury on August 15, 2003 while installing a Gateway Plasma TV and have tried to go back to work 2 times since, to no avail.
I do have many parts here at my house, leftovers from my computer store mostly.  So, the answer to your question of repair computers or sales, the answer is.....YES :laugh  :D

Laptops are proprietary.  Gotta go to the Manufacturer for parts.  I know a little about them :D   I remember the first time I had to replace a MBD in one....I was so intimidated (I hate tiny parts) but it's a piece of cake now.  Haven't found one yet that I couldn't fix :break  :rotflmao

Well, we do get parts shipped to us brand new from Dell, Micron, Gateway, and a few others.  We are warranty service providers for many of the manufacturers.  However, they usually want us to send the bad part back to them.

Yeah but the stuff ain't generic, Dell or anybody else don't make motherboards etc, who makes the motherboards for them?, isn't there a place to buy generic stuff for laptops?, who makes the cases and stuff??, I can't get an answer nowhere, seems like it's some top secret government dealio!.. :angry  :laugh
