The old stock throttle assembly needs to get an upgrade.
Looked at the Rex web site and did not find what I was looking for.
Any one make a throttle assembly with a nuetral switch that will control the pump,throttle, and have a place diverter switch on it? I want to get the place diverter off the dash. I find it hard to shoot lake lice While steering and operating the throttle. Angie has to push the trigger on the diverter for the most success in wasting the lake lice infestation. :D

You have a hand throttle :stupid Or is the that forward/reverse control? Is that a button on top? If so what does it do?

Hand throttle. Yes also controls forward reverse at the same time. top button is for maid service..... :drink  No button on the top, that is where the handle/ ball fell/broke off. Button on back side is a neutral switch that barely works.
with this control the boat is always moving forward or reverse, even at idle. I don't know if it is broke but that has always been how it works for us. Kind of a bummer in traffic, at the slips or launch ramp, but we are use to it.

First I've seen of a hand control throttle on a jet :stupid But I do live a sheltered life in AZ. I also go back and forth between forward and reverse I think thats pretty normal for a jet. You should think about switching to a foot throttle. And a standard forward backward stick. Sounds like you have a hydaulic divertor, you could mount the switch on the steering wheel.

Here's a link to Millers thread on what he did, he took it to a new level :good  but you  could do it the old fashion way with the coil type wiring that stretches while you turn.

Locks out the pump and allows me to control just the throttle. i.e. reving the gas under the bridge type shit.

I saw the post about the wheel thanks for the heads up, I am hoping to be able to control it on the throttle.
Foot throttle is out for me. The wife could not operate it on the last boat. She's too short or I'm too tall :stupid

Back to the foot throttle/ and pump control.
the style I have does not allow for the back and forth movement of the pump with out applying gas to the motor. where I could stop and spin the last jet with no trouble it takes a little more work to run this type. I don't mind it out on the water and like it better for sking then the foot throttle.
Just looking for a simular set up that would also control the  diverter. I already have the hyd. set up for the diverter switch  mounted on the dash.

Something like this may work. It has a trim switch integrated into it. I think that you may have some difficulty in getting the neutral set (because of the jet).

I was wondering if the standard out drive stuff could be made to work. I will have to go look at my buddies now.
The offshore stuff looks like I could control the pump and throttle with two seperate levers and get the trim button on the pump or throttle. That might be fun. Angie might have more reasons to not drive :bowdown  First few times might be a blast if I was to forget which was the throttle and pull back on the pump at about 50. :beat

You can use the Sterndrive control for a jet and if you have an electric place diverter just hook ity up to the trim switch on the control handle. The throw of the cables are the same so it will work.
