Well since good ole "Sleek" brought all this damn weather here and screwed up the Nordic project,  :beat  :laugh I won't have it done for Needles!.. :angry That means I'll have to take the Daytona!.. Sooo, since it's been 5 years since I built this motor and doing nothing but beatin the shit out of it, I figure I'd better take a look around in there. Well to my surprise everything was clean as a whistle, bearings look like they just came out of the box, cut the filter open and not one spec of crud!. :good  :jumpie So WTF do I do now :stupid piss on it I'll just put the thing back together and just keep on beatin the shit out of it!.. :good  :jumpie  :laugh

Well got the block back with a nice fresh hone and got er all washed and cleaned, and big Brown delivered my parts yesterday so I guess I can start putting it back together!.. I should get the rings fitted and the shortblock done today!. :good  :jumpie

Well progressing right along, sure goes quick when all you have to do is put it back together :laugh  Here the bumpstick is going back in, after 13 yrs it still looks like new, not bad for a flat tappet!. :good

Gear drive is installed and since the cam has 2 degrees built in for chain stretch I set it at 0, that will give me 2 degrees advance which is where it runs the best!. :good

Ready for the oil pan, those one piece gaskets sure are the shit, you can use them over and over again and if the pan ends aren't beat up you don't need silicone and you can't over tighten them!.. :good  :good Next we'll inspect the heads!. :good
