Well I ordered a smaller cam for the Hawaiian.
Operating Range: 1000-5000 RPM Duration Advertised: 262° Intake / 268° Exhaust Duration @ .050'' Lift: 218° Intake / 224° Exhaust Valve Lift w/1.7 Rockers: .505'' Intake / .515'' Exhaust Lobe Separation Angle: 112°
I'll stll run the 1.72 rockers so I'll get a little more lift than the specs. This boat is supposed to be a lake cruiser in the first place. And with gas prices going up and up I'll pull a few more GPH  I'll save the other cam for the motor in the Tahiti. Which is this one....
 Operating Range: 2000-6200 RPM Duration Advertised: 278° Intake / 292° Exhaust Duration @ .050'' Lift: 234° Intake / 244° Exhaust Valve Lift w/1.7 Rockers: .564'' Intake / .566'' Exhaust Lobe Separation Angle: 112°
Since I have to bore the other block I can pick a good set of forged pistons and use the match ported heads. It will be a better match for the 18ftr.
Time to enjoy the boat instead of working on it. Now where's the Big Brown Truck ÂÂ
