I have a 502 gen VI block and I want to know if I can add a small supercharger onto a stock block?  Or do I need to change the pistons and drop the compression before I can do it.

Im not looking to get greedy and run a bunch of boost, but i dont know enough about the smaller chargers to make an informed decision...

Any advice???

Well it all depends, what blower are you planning on using and how much compression do you have now???.. If you have 8 to 1 comp you can run those Wieand 177's, it'll give a little bit of power without having to run high octane gas!.. Personally I don't think those are worth it, I'd just as soon put an 8:71 on there and underdrive it, will give you good power without being radical!... My .02..
