I knew this shit was going to happen!..
Since the v-drive was already mounted for me I didn't have to mess with it right, yeah well something in the back of my head kept telling me I'd better stick the prop shaft in and see it fits, good thing I did because you couldn't slide the coupler but a 1/4" on the shaft, it was a no go. Now if I'd lined up the motor for the driveline and made up the plates and brackets and bolted it all in and the prop shaft wouldn't go, man what a mess that wouldv'e been!.. That's what happens when you powder coat everythng and don't tape off all the contact sufaces, also when the stringers were all redone material is added so that changes too. The thing to do would have been not to powdercoat anything and plug up all the holes in the stringers and start from scratch, that way you just line the v-drive up, clamp it, drill and bolt it up done deal!.. So the easy way would have been to just line up the box and make new brackets, but since they are all nice and pretty I decided to try and save them which I was able to do, it took me just about six hours to do it but I finally did it, the coupler slides on just as smoothe as can be!.. That's cool, more $$$$$$$ for me!..
