I have a question for some of you experienced boating people??  I have just bought a 1974 Sanger flattbottom and the temp doesnt ever get above 110 degrees, And I was wondering if anyone runs the thermostat kits and how good they work,  I know i have to find a way to build some heat in my motor to get optimum performance..

Welcome to the boards! :good  :beer I replied on HB but I'll reply here too!. I don't run t-stat never have, I don't worry about water temp being cold, the oil temp is important!..Mine runs 150 cruising, maybe get to 160 running laps!.. :good
