Well while patching the boat up I noticed the throttle cable is 2 strands from breaking :banghead

Its about a 10 footer, looked around a bit. Not havin much luck. Anyone got a lead?

Well its 11ft+/- end to end, and 10ft +/- from end of housing to end of housing. Ends are 10-32 threaded.

And its still hotter than hell outside :laugh

And the set screw holding it in the pedal is seized :break

Soaking it now.

I was looking the way the 11 ft'r was routed and it was pretty direct, the 16ft'r might actual be a cleaner set up. We'll see soon enough I guess.

That's common as can be, don't know why they don't use stainless set screws on those!. :beat

I alwys have to use some penetrant and put some heat to it, that loosens them right up!.. :good

Found the torch :flamed

got it hot and it popped loose :jumpie

then it jammed up and stripped the set screw :pissed

So I drilled it out and I'll just use a bigger set screw, do they make them in 1/2" :eek

Got the cable yesterday Gary, thanks again :beer

It is a tad long but useable just ran it past the motor a bit and up against the motor stringer then up to the carb. Can't beat the price

Had to drill and tap the gas pedal to a 1/4 set screw but it's all done. Another thing is man was my cable binding this one moves like butter :jumpie

know wonder I was getting cramps in my right leg on long runs.

Get this thing back together :break

I'm ready to hit the water :beer
