It depends on where you are keeping it.  Havasu and the Parker area, on rare occasions has gotten down to the low teens at night.  If it does this, and does it for several night then a person could have a problem espeically if kept outside, in a tent, or metal building without any insulation.  And if the daytime temperatures stay at or around the low 30's.  Rare, very rare, but it could happen.

I remove the water from the block, and replace it with 60%antifreeze and 40% water mix.  I fill all fuel tanks to the top and also double the amount of fuel stabelizer.  This reduces condensatetion. I also leave the drain plug out just in case a tarp, tent or building gets a leak in it and the leak allows water to get into the boat for any reason.  I do drop the trim down to relax the tension on the trim.  The last thing I do is losen the back tie down straps a bit from the trailer.

Most of my friends do very little to nothing.  But this process gives me peace of mind and I know, I will not be spending thousands of dollars if the temperature really drops.  And will not have to replace an engine.

Depends where the boat is stored and how long it's going to sit, if it's in a warm climate treat it like it was a vehicle, start it up once in a while and circulate everything, better yet just take it out and run the $hit out of it!.. Now if you're in the cold $hit country, move to the warm country!.. :D

It's stored 1/4 mile N. from Windsor, in a metal un-insulated building, with a full tank and stabilizer always.
Will be stored Dec, Jan, & Feb.
Damn I hate cold weather.

I only worry about stuff drying out in the summer, when it's cold it takes quite a while for stuff to dry out!. One thing I do though is if the motor is going to sit for a couple of weeks I always back off the valves, but I also have solid lifters with hydraulics I don't worry about it since they bleed down anyways!..

Boats don't eat up batteries, it's the conditions and climate that eats them up!. I kept the boat in the garage(hot)always pulled the battery and kept it in the shop where it was cool, I've had it for 8yrs now and it's still good!.. :good

Same here.....takes only a couple of minutes, but I bring the battery home with me after every trip. Made a spot under my work bench with a maintainer where it lives until it's time to go out a gain.  :good
