I keep hearing about all these peeps meeting at the Park in Ride off the 91, but still don't know who that is?

This is who I know will be leaving OC at 8 AM Friday morning.

1) The Knuckle Heads
2) The HBJets
3) Havasu Doug
4) Cyclone
5) 77 Charger

Who else have I missed? Boater Bill?

The Knuckle Heads and I will be communicating through GMRS/FRS radios, CB radio, and lastly, cell phones. Word is out that Channel 6 will be used on the various radios.

DD, the Park and Ride is somewhere near the 91 and 5 interchange, so how about pick a place near your house to meet us. Once we leave, it will take us about half an hour to get there, but we'll call you to let you know beforehand. I'm thinking it will be around 8:30 AM when we get to Riverside.

Brad, thats why you and Smiley should come down the night before, and just crash at the house. HD, I will meet everyone out in front of the Toyota dealership in Riverside, which, if you take the Auto Center Dr exit off of the 91, make a left on Indiana, and go down about a block or 2, it is on the right. I will just park the truck and boat on the side of the road in front, so you can see me. My cell is 909-545-9726. -DD Out

I would love to but we are picking up our new camper on Thursday afternoon and then bringing it home. We will have to unload it and I will want to play with it for a while. So I think that we will be to busy Thursday night. We might get up early and drive down. But if I remember correctly it took about four hours to get to the 909 from our house. How long does it take to get from there to Havasu? Ã‚Â :stupid

My friends, you are not going to like this answer, but, if it took you roughly 4 hours to get from your house to here, it will take you at least another 4 to get from here to Havasu, and that is a boatload (no pun) of driving. Are you sure that you cant figure something else out? And are you bringing the camper to Havasu, or just staying somewhere else? If you are not bringing it, my advice would be to forget the playing with the new toy for now (I know its hard) and get out of Solvang as early as you can. -DD Out

We are not bringing it we are mooching some couch space from Doug and his place.

Lindsey did a few map quest searches and one came up at 6.5 hours to havasu from here. If that is accurate we may go that route solo. I would love to caravan with you guys but I guess thatÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s the price we pay for living in the sticks.
