Every year I have a big blow-out at the spring drag races in Vegas.  Rented Motorhome to stay at the track, good food, lots of beer  :beer , good seats too.  

Anyone from the HavasuDoug's (and a few other select sites) are more than welcome to come party with us.  

The dates are April 1 - 4 at LVMS.  My group usually sets up the motorhomes early, so we're on the front line of coaches.  The cool thing is that once you're in the gate, you can get back to the motorhome corrall without any hassles.

Hope to see some of you peeps there.   :good

OK, a heads up for all you Vegas peeps (and some up in Mormon country..TTB :D ).  Races are next week.

We'll be out at the track Wednesday afternoon, and be there all the way through the weekend.

Maybe we can hook up and have a few beers one night. Red Horse is close to the Cannery ,he says the beer is cheap and the place is nice.

Red, if I don't get together with any of you Vegas peeps this time, I go up there about every couple months.   :good

We usually don't leave the track once the motorhome is set up, and we'll definetly be there from Friday on, you're more than welcome to stop by out there.  

One of the best shows around is Friday Night quals, tickets are all GA on Friday, so it's pretty cheap.  

To everyone that wants to stop by.  I'll have my Blazer parked in front of the rig, it's Maroon with Colorado plates and a HavasuDoug.com sticker in the back window.  :D
Feel free to bring beer.   :ass  :beer

It's pretty easy to get past the gat nazi's, just tell them your dropping someone off at a motorhome, they'll just wave you right in.  If you buy a ticket to go to the races, you can just walk back to the RV's no problem.

OK, for those of you who want to try and hook up at the races.

I'll have my Blazer (93 Maroon w/Colorado tags and a Havasu Doug sticker in the back window) parked in front of the motor home.  We will be on the first line of rigs as you walk out the gate from the track (the western most).  Red N Vegas is going to stop by Friday night, and  we should be at the track from Friday until the end of the weekend.  If you're just going to stop by and not go into the races, drive around to the RV enterance and just tell the people at the gate your going to see someone in one of the Motorhomes, they usually wave you on through.   :good

If anyone wants, I'll pm my Cell # to them, and you can give me a call anytime.

Hope to see some of you peeps at the track.   :beer

Oh yeah, I'll be wearing my RRL t-shirts a couple days so keep and eye out.   :good

Well, after a rainy couple of days, we got to see some pretty good racing.   :good

Doug Kalitta set a 1/4 mile speed record of 335 mph, but then wasn't able to back it up.  That car was moving.  :eek

Drank alot of beer, sniffed alot of nitro, and took some pretty good picks.  I'll try and get some posted later this evening.
