| Quote (GlassMan @ Sep. 30 2004,9:24 pm) | Hey Doug, what's the scoop on discount or comp tickets. I used to get freebies for the show in L.B. all the time.
And I think it was one of the boat store chains...(West Marine, Boater's World) that had discount coupons.
Do they still do that? I'll probably need all my cash for a down payment.....on gas. |
There are 3 ways to save a little $$$ to get in the boat show:
| Quote | Discount #1 -- SHOW YOUR AUTOMOBILE CLUB of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MEMBERSHIP CARD ANY WEEKDAY (Monday thru Friday) AND RECEIVE A $3.00 DISCOUNT OFF REGULAR ADMISSION (limit four admissions per card -- regular admission is $10 per adult, children 12 & under free). No other discount offers apply.
Discount #2 -- Click on the link -- Advance Ticket Purchases and you will be able to pre-buy boat show tickets online for only $7.00, good any day, no quantity limit (a $3.00 savings per ticket). Online tickets are ON SALE starting October 1, 2004 thru January 28, 2005 when this offer expires.
Discount #3 -- Click on this link to print-out your own $3.00 off weekday (Monday thru Friday only) admission discount coupon (valid January 31 - February 4, 2005) only, no other discounts apply). |
That info was taken from the SCMA site, but so far, there doesn't appear to be a clickable link for Discount #3.
