this is early but ,aug 4th-8th we are going to do a pig in the ground(if enough peeps show) on saturday night. i will post more info as we get closer,so plan for it

I assume Page. Is this going to be a boat in type of event, or are we going to be able to drive out to the party spot??

water will be fine,,powell is 2 hours from me and so/cal is i think 450 miles,1 1/2 hours from here to LV,come on up and play :beer

IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 1 HOUR TO RUN UP TO WHERE WE WILL BE (this is at beer speed 45-50 mph

)if ya don't have camp stuff/cook stuff we will have all the cooking stuff covered,ya just need a tent and some bags,fuel is about 1/2 hour up/down lake(beer speed) ,shiter is about 5 mins away(GOTTA GO NOW SPEED-WFO) :good

.WE WILL PUT UP A MENU of stuff to bring ,paper plates cups ,diff things ,bf stuff lunch dinner things ,we always do a big buffet for all meals so everyone brings stuff and we make meals ,it works out killer and we set up a BAR ,mardonzi has a gen so we also have blended drinks :good

I believe Kane Creek is about 23 or 24 miles from Wahweep Marina or about 40 minutes at a very moderate cruise.

OK, Padre Bay... I know that much...LOL . Your talking to a Hite/Good Hope bay guy here, I've only been below the San Juan arm once or twice.

I'm not masochistic enough to run my flat bottom that far on the lake. :fouet

If I can arrange a different boat, I might make it. I also know enough about the Lake Powell weather not to leave a low freeboard boat in the water overnight... glug..glug...glug.

ok we have about 30 days so,aug 4-8 pig in the ground,we will find a beach close enough so you can stay in the motel if you want to,lots of people camping,i ordered a 220 lb pig and a cord of wood(hauled out on a h/b).come out and enjoy powell and eat/drink like kings :jumpie
