I was told that several boat sunk at Pleasant during the Saturday evening storms. |
Yeah, I heard of at least one guy that sunk, swam to shore, then walked a couple miles before someone found him in the dark. I amazes me how many people stay out when they see the storms building in the distance, then they're surprised when they get caught.
Sidenote: when I first typed this I accidently wrote "...one guy that sunk, swam to whore, the walked..." Maybe he would have felt better if that was the case. Carbon Monoxide poisoning kills boaters.  Take the time to learn about it and how to avoid it.
