We will be in parker for nine days the week of Thanksgiving. anyone else? deep fried turkey, bikes, buggies, and  :beer  :beer  :beer  :beer if it's warm the boat may see some action :good

Well they've changed it to two days instead of three and according to the SCSC site, it's the 25th and 26th(Fri & Sat), but nothing "official' has been posted yet so we'll just have to wait and see, I'd guess it would be Fri and Sat since it's tradition to have the pot luck on Thanksgiving day!.. :stupid

I'll be out there from Wednesday night through Sunday evening. Gonna spend a 1/2 day thursday in Havasu with the family, but all the rest of the time will be spant at Parker. Probably cruise by the races on the way to the desert bar one of the days (more likely friday). Also we will most likely do the Rio offroad poker run on Saturday. But the main reason to go is to use the new boat, that I just picked up.

Hijack alert

Up until last year, nothing had changed.  However, this year, the property on N. Marina Dr. sold and there is no more camping up on the pavement.  I have heard that they intend to fence it off in the future and not allow people to travel through.  Meaning one would have to get there from the southern area or from the north.  It will be interesting to see what happens.

I'll be out at my river house also over thanksgiving with the dirt toys, family and friends. Also looking forward to seeing the lighted boat parade.

Yes saturday night at dusk. We had plenty of time to finish the Rio poker run, get our cards, have a few drinks from the bar, watch Trav blow up the motor in his boat, get it back on the trailer, back to Echo, and have dinner before they came around.

yup will be out at the river house with my WR450 Thurs afternoon. Planning on doing alot of desert riding and a few rides up to P mountain.  :good

back from parker, had a great time in the dirt as well as the river, yes we were the group skiing from road runner to the casino and back every morning!!  We also ran one of the many poker runs. had a great time.
