Anybody going to Lake Pleasant for the fourth? I'm thinking about working out there just so I can sit on the boat and watch the fireworks. Maybe I'll see some of you out there.

As long as you're working and get to use your own VIP boat ramps, I say go for it. I know some people that have been out the last few years and talks of 3-4 hour lines to get off the water doesn't sound very exciting to me. I guess launching and getting a slip/camping in a cove is the way to do it.

We usually launch early in the morning and stay in the boat 'till the next mornig, it works out pretty well.....

Yeah, but the problem is I'd have to load up my boat (work boat) and tow it out there, then deal with all the traffic anyway. Sounds like fun, but alot of hassle too.

If this "heat" goes out there, it'll be to watch the fireworks and mayne do a little work before. I don't like to get into too much if I go over there because all the tickets I might write will be in court on the other side of town. Too long of a drive for 15 minutes in court. Four hours of overtime for court is good when it only takes me one hour to complete. Driving across town cuts into the profit ratio.
