We stayed home here in Palm Desert.  But would like to see your pics.  Might make us feel better.  We are however ging to Havi this Saturday through Tuesday.

Had a nice spot at Needles Marina. Almost had the lagoon to myself... :D

Don't know if there are different lagoons there, but I camp'd there a few years ago and I remember seeing some kids drag'n their PWCs across the mud in the morning when the river was low. I guess it stayed high enough for you to get in and out?

The water was unusually high, I heard there was some new planting going on down river.....we had to get the boat out of the lagoon by 9am-ish, which was only an issue one day when we left at sunrise and came back for breakfast and almost stayed too long.

That Laveycraft was high and dry a couple of days.  :(

We were in the same boat, (pun intended) about not getting to the river for the 4th.  Pictures almost make up for it.
We did have great time on the 4th, just hanging with friends, doin the BBQ thing, Thanks to the Zigs for putting that on! :)
