Since hardly anyone got to go on the water at Run What Ya Brung, would anyone be interested in hitting Elsinore or Perris next Saturday, 3/22/03? So far, the forecast says that it will be sunny and clear that day.

Bill, if you can make it any time that day, that would be great. I don't have to get home at any certain time. Either lake is fine with me, but I can probably get more people to show up if it's Elsinore.

I just found out on hotboat from Elsinore Cop that the lake is shut down for the weekend due to high bacteria levels. :angry

Thank god for the boards though. Otherwise I would have driven all the way out there for nothing. It looks like I'll be installing my LED trailer lights that I just bought from Nextasex instead.

This hasn't been easy for us, has it? :laugh

Normally I am off Wednesday's but for whatever reason, Monday is my day off this week. Hopefully the weather will be good next week as well. It looks like I'll be going tomorrow even if I have to go all by myself. :laugh

OK, maybe next week. I'll still test the lake out tomorrow though.

I still haven't replaced my lights yet though. It should be a piece of cake since they are a direct replacement. What my trailer really needs though is a rebuild if not totally replaced. I'll work on it a little after I get home from the lake tomorrow.

perris was nice yesterday but crowded also.Dont people there know how to use the launch ramp?(hot boats wernt the problem )but the bayliner type crowd!! :angry

Just got back from Elsinore. It was a little chilly near the end of the day, but HolyMoly showed me a spot to hang out there that I didn't know about. Thanks Frank!

Yup, looks like Coors Light Cove is open, atleast to jet boats.

Thanks for the ride Doug - it was nice to just chill out on the lake, even if it was cold (although I brought a sweater and sat real close to the motor). We had the whole lake to ourselves except for a big Eliminator and a few brotha's fishin for catfish.
