Well we made it to Roosevelt, another interesting trip. Boat ran good most of Saturday, had some more carb issues late in the day. Still has that fockin noise though and it seemed worse after I adjusted the valves Sunday am. Getting close to OP6C-V and its still not right starting to panic alittle    :angry Back to the drawing board. Going to unhook the jet again and make sure its not an engine noise.
Still had  a good time, just want to be done with the boat.

Oh yeah forgot the DRAMA wouldn't be a Callahan lake trip with out it. Had a front tire seperate about half way home. See the bump, talk about a vibration

KC, You already disconnected the pump once. You know the knock is coming from the ujoint or possibly the spline on the pump. Run it brother and have a great time. Like you said, as soon as it slung all the grease the noise came back.   :eek

I wouldn't mind being the last man on Earth - just to see if all of those girls were telling me the truth.

Good luck,keep up the work,there's still 2 and a half weeks left (like that's a long time with boat repair issues).That's why I'm bustin' my ass tweaking on my boat.I thought having an older boat to work on was half the fun?!?! :confused
