After 973,000 miles and 7 years, old Betsy gets put out to pasture, living out the remainder of her life probably hauling containers out of Long Beach Harbor.



Finally Arizona comes on board with Utah, Idaho, Nevada and Colorado on the length law :good and finally I get to drive something decent. :jumpie

very cool rig there BB, I just ordered a huge above ground pool from WalMart. Should be here at my home in a couple of weeks. Had to order it online since the store didn't stock it there.

yeah definity need one here in Havasu since we are having 110 degree days now for the next three months. Plus didn't have to spend $40,000 to have pool put in. This walmart one is 20x20 and 5ft deep. Cost me only a little under 2K. Can't wait to get it. It's on order now.

I'm permitted for 129,000 lbs in Nevada and the Arizona Strip. Utah and Colorado, I can go 118,000 lbs and only 105,000 lbs in Idaho. :comp

Well i guessed way off on the weight, I figured 100,000 total :rolleyes  :laugh  Ain't that the shits though, I just don't understand why they don't have a standard weight law all over the country WTF, same as oversize laws it was a royal pain running from Ca to Ut, 4 states, 4 different laws!.. :rolleyes  :laugh

BTW, do they load you up to the max??. :stupid

Well, things have gotten a little better over the years. At least now most of the basic licensing and fuel permits are pretty standardized around the country. Not having to carry that bullshit bingo card any more is nice too. :good

The run I do to Idaho is usually around 95-100,000 lbs. The Nevada run is a little different because the return trip is store freight for Vegas and it averages 120,000 lbs. Thank God Nevada has not permanent scales because I've been as high as 152,000 lbs. :eek
