They actually did something right huh. :laugh I would put the t-stat in the back at the warmest area where the sun beats down on it the most in the afternoon in the summertime.

I'll have picks later but they mounted the T-Stat to a cabinet that's mounted on back side of the wall that has the work benches. About 10ft from the cooler. Only had one speed and that was high. Not sure if the pump even works. Thing is so rusted out it won't hold water so I shut it all off.

Here is what I have that I'm going to remove. This thing is just way to bulky and taking up way to much space. This is looking in from the garage door.

Here is the back side. The end of the cabinet is where the t-stat for the cooler was. You can see where that was. This babinet is a POS at best. You cant see it to well but the bottom is sagging. The light switch controls the lights under the over hang. (see next pick)

This is a better pic of the underside of the over hangs. Good idea just not done well in my eyes.

Just to give you an idea of how high these tops are. Keep in mind I'm only 5' 5" and these benches are 33 1/2 deep. So reaching the peg board is not happening with out a step stool.  :laugh

:laugh  I think this is what he was using as a guide to fixing things. I found it on the work bench as we were initially looking at the house. It went in the round file.  :D

One night this week I'm going to try to pull the electrical out. I'm now contiplating running 8 gauge to a sub box and running stuff from there. From what I can see that's the best way I can run 220 if I want to as I will run 4 wires from the current breaker box. I'm thinking that might be the easiest and best in the long run. Since I don't have the trailer here yet I'm kind of at a stand still. To get the trailer, the folks have to move the motor home. They are leaving for a week on the 10th so I will get it then.

WOW, what a POS  :eek  :laugh Be surprised at how much room you'll have when you get rid of all that garbage. I would definitely run a sub box especially if you're putting in 220, isolates everything from the main box. :good

I'll be able to have a Ho Down in there with all this crap gone.  :laugh   Not sure if I will do the 220, But I want to have the provisions to do so if I need/want to. Also the sub box will give me a little flexibility on what I can run and shorter runs. Also it will isolate the garage power wise from the rest of the house.

I went out last evening to the garage and I moved the garage door opener power to another outlet in the garage off the work bench. Then I went and flipped the breaker off that was labeled for the bench. I tested this last week to make sure that was correct and did shut the bench power off.

This gets even more strange. On the pic, See the blank plate that's on the end of the cabinet. I decided to go and start pulling the outlets out to start pulling the wiring out. I pulled that blank plate off to find an outlet behind it. I went and removed the outlet you see on the wall and there was 3 romex cables in the J Box. I thought that was odd since there were only two outlets. So I opened the cabinet door around the front to find ANOTHER outlet in the back of the cabinet mounted in the wall. The back of the cabinet is cut out to access the outlet. This one may have to stay until I do some demo'ing of the bench itself. YES!!!!!  I'm testing each outlet as I get to it to make sure it's not hot.  :laugh

I was out last evening pulling outlets on the bench. I had to use a screw driver to pry the outlet out far enough to get a screw driver on the screw holding the wires. There was very little slack in the wiring to pull them out. SO far two of the boxes the screws holding to the bench were striped. Only thing holding them in place was a crap load of paint.  :rolleyes

Worked on removing one of the benches Saturday. That boy had an obsession for screws. And how he got then in the places I'm finding them is insane. I'm kind of at a stand still until I get the trailer to the house. Hopefully tomorrow evening. Before I get to far on loading it I will have to do a little wiring on it. It's all jacked up.  :laugh

Got the trailer out of the back yard of the folks last evening. One tire seems to be holding some air. The other, well the side wall leaks. Will find a couple used tires to put on it and get it home hopefully tonight. Before loading it up to much, Need to fix the wiring so it has some kind of resemblance of lights. Still has the original single light on it, Not sure if it even works. I'll donate one of the light bars I have to put on it so it has better lights. I'll try to get a  pic of this thing once home. Not purdy, but sure will do the hauling trick.  :D   :good

After getting a couple pretty good used tires on the thing I finaly got it home. Like I said. Not Purdy but will do the job it's intended. Hopefully going to work on the wiring tonight and figure out how to mount the bar.
